Fourth of July BBQ

The Fourth of July is the most popular outdoor cooking day in the U.S. It is only right that we celebrate our nation’s independence with a barbecue. Historically, Southern states celebrated Independence Day with a barbecue cookout. This was very particular to the culture of those people. The Declaration of Independence was celebrated and was reflective of the region.

In the 20th century, the population shifted from the country to the city and suburbs where Independence Dat barbecues became a family affair and tradition for many people. Popular charcoal grill was sold everywhere and consumers were encouraged to barbecue outside.
