Oysters cooked or eaten raw can be a hit or miss for most people but personally, I love oysters especially grilled oysters. Hogs Island in Oyster Bay is a great location to get some of the freshest oysters on the west coast.
One thing about raw oysters versus cooked oysters is obviously texture but the problem with eating raw oysters at home is having to shuck them. This can be difficult for someone that doesn’t have any idea what they’re doing. The simplicity for cooking oysters over a grill is when there ready to eat they just pop right open for you to enjoy.
